...AA's for 99 cents a dozen...I found out why they were so cheap...they are DEAD...Put em in my Garrett detector;wouldnt work at all...Put some ray-o-vac's in I had from last year-FULL POWER-Worked like a charm...I got half a mind to call Sears tomorrow and complain about'em....I guess its true:Let the Buyer Beware....PS;went out detecting at my house in West Branch again today-NADA!!...found nothing...

You wanna try some batteries that really rock! Panasonic Oxyride batteries will go twice as long as others!

They are 3.99 for 24 at the local supermarket. I tried some and they work just fine. Close enought to the lifespan of the expensive ones to make them worth it.
