Ace 250 9 x 12 coil just arrived

Good choice. I had one that was in the closet for about a year. Then I decided to put it on. All I can say is now the old stock coil has now been in the closet for a year. The stock coil will never see dirt again because the big coil it much better. I mean it covers the ground better. It picks up just as small targets. Pinpoints even better. I even get lazy and use it in tot lots. Reducing the sens to #2 can get next to the supports. I think the sniper coil is king in tot lots and trash areas. But the big coil is amazing!
Good luck. That coil still manages to keep it's sensetivity to small targets. I use mine often.
I was really surprised at the small things I was finding even with the coil of that size. Got to give the yeller feller some credit too. With a metal detector like this in my line up... I am afraid my other detectors might get a little dusty. Until it gets to hot outside, then out comes the water gear
