Ace 250 and Gravel

Coins also!!:detecting:

Always jewelry.

The swings are a great place to find jewelry.

I found these on the same day. They hit on foil. They are both 18k and the gold value was $237 that day.

Keep MD'ing in coin on tot lots.

I used to hunt a few of these and now I avoid them unless they are my last resort. I just don't like detecting in them nor have I found anything all that great. When I do I lower my sensitivity quite a bit. I alway hunt areas like that in jewelry mode.

I suppose when I find a gold ring or necklace like John did, I'll go back and check them more thoroughly.

I hate them and usually there is little or nothing in them plus some of the gravel in these places is mineralized and will drive your detector nuts. I could never understand why they use that crap in tot lots. It's hard to walk on and tough on little bodies when they fall. Just set your machine as you would anywhere else unless it's mineralized then it won't matter.
