ACE 250

I haven't been active for the last few years. I had an ADS II that I used and like very much for about 15 years. What would be the current model most nearly like the ADS II. I have heard a lot of good things about the ACE 250. Any comments.

It does what you ADS II will do, it doesn't require to be ground balanced, it runs on 4 x AA alkaline/recharge-ables, weighs 1/5 th of what your ADS weighs. But I think you will squeeze a little more depth out of your old machine.

I ordered the ACE 250 with the larger coil today. Thanks for your input. I'll post my finds as soon as it gets here.

You'll do good with it. Good machine for the money.
I'd also get the sniper coil at some time later.
With all three coils, it's pretty versatile, and you still
got less money in it than many other machines with
no extra coils.

I have been reading so many good things about the ACE 250, that I am thinking that may be I should ordered two ACE 250 (for my son and me) instead of the ACE 250 for my son and the GTI 2500 for me. I am a little worried about the weight of the GTI. They are not here yet. Bye
