ACE 350, Good 1st Detector???

Hi guys, new to the hobby and wanted to ask this question. I like what I read about the 350 and the DD coil, do you think this would be a good first detector for me? A friend let me borrow his White's Spectrum XLT and I have been on a few short hunts with it and like it. From what I have read the ACE 350 will get me the most bang for my buck considering I only have $300 to spend. So lets hear it what are your opinions? Thanks for reading.

The Ace 350 is a great machine for your first detector in my opinion. I have one and I'm very happy with it. You cannot go wrong by choosing the 350.

I started with the 250 but if the 350 was
availalbe then i would have bought it for sure

It would make an excellent first detector. It has some improvements over its predecessor the ACE 250, will hold it;s own competing against detectors costing twice as much and is made in the USA by a reputable company which has been producing metal detectors for many years.

If the coil doesn't matter and cost is a factor, get the 250. If you have the extra cash and want a larger coil, get the 350. There's little difference between the two.
