Ace 400 coils on an AT Pro?

I have an Ace 400 with a couple of different coils and am looking at acquiring a used AT Pro locally. Will the Ace coils work and function properly on the AT Pro? Additionally, with exception of waterproof to 10 feet perhaps I would not be gaining much by getting the AT Pro? Opinions please.
