Now when I go out I can stay out past dusk and detect all the way back to the car

Gotta have something to do while my leg heals.

Awesome Pete! I made a pro-pointer mount on the front shaft of my ATG and realized I could clip in an LED flashlight as well. I like dusk and dawn hunting too. Great idea and glad you're back in the game my friend! God Bless.

I tried one of those metal 2 AA flashlights but not enough light for swinging so the 3 in 1 unit works great.

My breathing (giving off carbon dioxide) would bring them in....nned for a good mosquito repellent...up here...we call it a shotgun lol

Yep will post them...the item that connects them is one of these...

it is from a small knee high size broom and dust pan combo. The clip holds the broom to the standing dust pan. I worked at Wal-mart and they were trashing these combo outfits...I kept the clips to as many as I could. I found that the smaller side of the clip fit nicely to the upper rod and the larger opening fits the flashlight.

The connector clip will also hold one of those metal AA battery flashlights - but doesn't give off enough light to keep from smacking rocks with the side of the coil.

I have a couple of those clips and most of them now can be gotten from Prostock Detectors in Plainwell, MI.

I would imagine a compression spring clamp would work. Most police cars had them years ago. Check Home Depot or maybe Lowes tool department.
