As a Garrett GTI 2500 lover I have found myself reading all the information on the Minelab E-Trac. I have become friends with an avid MineLab user in which he owns 3 of. I detected with him last summer beach hunting for a week and the amount of jewelry he found was outstanding. I have decided and ordered the Minelab E-Trac. My son is getting to show interest in detecting so I decided to start him out with the 2500 and I will see what the E-Trac will do for me. Anyone out there used both machines and have any suggestions good or bad or any comparisons.
