Advice about a Fisher detector

Reeseb

Hey guys. I'm in the market for a light weight detector for hunting tot lots and swimming beaches for recent drops. I only need 5 or 6 inches of depth because these spots get hit a lot and there are no deep targets. I was thinking I'd like to get a Fisher for this purpose because I like the tones and how my CZ21 works. Is there a lightweight Fisher model that acts like CZ21 on land - low, mid and high tones? Sorry for the ignorance here. I just barely got into Fishers. I've been using White's and Minelab for several years and bought my CZ21 a couple months ago. Thanks in advance for the advice,

Have a look at the F5 with the 11"dd coil...it uses the same batteries as your 21, has adjustment knobs on it like your 21, is killer for inland jewelry hunting...Mike Hillis here is the guru on the F5, so you can read some of his posts. Yep, that should be a perfect match for what you are wanting to do.

the F5 is the best "sleeper" unit on the market. I had one only to upgrade to the F75 - mainly because of the back light but just about has all of the features of the F75. I will also make the claim that it has 95% the performance & depth of the F75 (coil per coil) and she will also operate on a single 9 volt battery...
