Ok gang

Ive decided to use the GTI1500 amost exclusivley this year
with the ace250 in reserve/ special areas..

Not a lot of bad mineraliztion here in Western Pa

No salt water etc etc

Question.. is the 12.5 coil for the GTI a good investment?
Right now I have the fcty coil and a sniper for it ... also not
a lot of real relic type hunting here, at least none ive found yet
Looking for one more coil to perhaps complete the arsenal

And has anyone who uses the walmart wireless headphones had problems
with them just cuttin out ???

Thanks as usual for the advise I know ill get

THINK SPRING

I've used the wireless and noticed the antenna will help reception pulled out

The wal=mart units are not compatible with the Ace unit.(as I have just found out, sadly) Very little volume whatsoever comes through the headphones with any setting except for all metal.
Haven't heard of this issue with any other detector besides the 250 though.

The large coil is really a special purpose item, as are the sniper coils. It will give you greater depth on soils free of target congestion. But where the matrix is congested, it begins to suffer. Deep woods and farm fields are the ideal sort of applications for it, although you can try it anywhere you think it might be useful. Could it hurt to have it? No.

As for the WM headphones - no idea.
