Advise please from the folks!!!

Im going to be hutning a site that was a bar
as long as i can recall but itsbeen shut down
for at least 20 yrs that i can recall.. Gravel
parking lot and the ground is a mix of sandy soil
and gravle with some slag thrown in to boot..

Its a big area over an acre in total

Question.. Should stick with the standard
coil and its imaging OR use the super sniper?

I have an opinion.but i wanna see what the experienced folks say

What I do is make a quick sweep, X the area, then perimeter, see how trashy it is, then figure which coil to use=lotssa trash/small, not whole lot trash/bigger/probly 8"

Go with the standard coil, and try to hunt with the least amount of discrimination and maximum sensitivity as possible. If you are limited for time, you might want to hunt in coin mode.

That's about what I would do. Just play it by ear. I'd start with the larger coil, and if
trash got to be a problem, I'd slap the sniper on it. Even the sniper can cover some
area if you keep a fairly quick pace because pinpointing is fast with those.
But with an acre, I'd start with the big coils first and see what happens.
The sniper would be good for a parking lot if it had lots of pull tabs. Easier to
pinpoint the coins.
