Probably not what your thinkin... but after owning a detector or two ( or 4 ) from all the manufacturers out there........... I finally got my first Garrett....I traded for a beautiful cond ace 350....Anybody want to chime in on likes /dislikes about the unit....

I'll use it primarily for coin and jewelery pickin.. It should easily handle that task..right???

I traded my ace350 tfor a tiger shark, I do miss the 350 on coin hunting I had the sun ray probe on it plus the sniper coil and it was a sweet combo! I have nothing to say bad about it!

I've had a 350 for almost two years now-great machine but took a bit of getting used to. If you have had a machine with a DD coil before (i'm guessing you have) you will hit the ground running. great on coins- really deep 11"+ on some of the old copper penny's we have over here (UK). It loves bottle caps but once you work out how to discriminate them its not so much of an issue. I have found a lot of silver coins with mine and use it on the wet sand at around 2 or 3 bars sensitivity with some good results. I got my first bit of gold tonight in a park-a 9k gold charm bracelet, it hit with a mid tone and a jump to low tone every now and then (cant remember exactly where on the ID) I don't normally dig these signals which is probably why its my first gold!

Man I would LOVE to find a silver dollar. I've found more of the presidental dollars than I would have expected, but never a silver dollar. Or even an older half would be nice. I've found Kennedy halves and a Franklin half but none older than that and I'm getting annoyed!
