After a month and two days...

was told the hotel has no work for me that they feel I can do and told to come back when the doc says I can do my job again.

Maybe good news but was also told that if I wasn't back to work in about 6 weeks they will have to hire another maintenance guy. Had they been on top of things a lot of time would not have been wasted and,might have been back to work. Biggest xoncern is how,much damaqge has been done and is it too late to do somethings medically that could have been done before and cutting down on healing time.

Don't like the idea they dragged their feet in getting medical attention and the givd me qa time frame to get healed...or lose my job.

Since the new management took over I and one other person remain as the people there the longest...many others have been let go. Hoping I won't lose this job. Another local hotel has closed its doors. Interestingly a small resort is hosting a 'Medical Marijuana' party...guess the owner will use pot heads to keep his resort afloat.

Look on the brighter side, you will have time to heal providing they have Workmen's Comp to pay for you and for your salary while you are out getting better! May be a blessing in disguise and I hope and pray you get well really soon and able to go back before the hotel says you're through working there! Just put it all in God's hands and you and Sherry will endure and make it through this trial, also, with Jesus!

I am strugging too, not feeling well at all and money is really tight due to my trying to help Cliff by buying another home which we were unable to move into by Cliff's being too ill after he couldn't do anything any more and saw drs often which would have been a long trip from Cuba, MO to St. Louis had we moved any way! There are many hurting physically, spiritually and mentally, but with God we shall prevail for Jesus is with us and He said, He would never leave nor forsake us! Therefore, we just keep leaning on and trusting by faith in our blessed Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Amen! God Bless! Betty

sure hope you get up on your feet soon so you can get back to work.

I didn't realize that MI passed the medicinal marijuana law. Don't see how that hotel can get away with it. Somehow I doubt they'll be many people there who need pot for medicinal purposes...

to get people as clients. I have glaucoma and can' afford the $180 precription drug for glaucoma. Was told any doctor can prescribe pot for glaucoma. I like seeing yet don't need pot to mess with brain cells to work on the glaucoma. Guessing those who want pot parties are not nthe ones who really have a legitimate medical problem like me.

When they have a forum about medical marijuana and they want to learn 'technics' for smoking it and growing it...something does not sound right.

The world is not the place it once was.
