After getting bit by the electric fence gate, Robin knocks on the guys door and happily after several turn downs we got a cheerful yes to detect a yard of an old looking house. One big old tree in the front yard must have been a gathering spot because I got a handful of wheaties there, a silver Rosie, and a merc.
The next spot was an old school in a town nearby and it gave up a few more wheats and another merc. Great hunting with Robin again and the weather was perfect too.
I almost forgot to mention. At the end of the day when Robin dropped me off at my truck I spotted a $20 bill in the grass. Guess I have the wind to thank for that one!

Also, glad to see that you knocked on some doors first before detecting private property. It's guys like you that ask first that helps to continue to give our great hobby a good name for all of us. Thanks buddy and HH.
