After work hunt...then on into the darkness:smile:

Been very busy at work and have had very little time to hunt.
I got out this evening with only about 2 hours of daylight left...but figured that was better than nothing.

My faithful buddy Hercules was ready to sniff out some goodies...but not until he begged his way into a couple of my pieces of chicken.:bouncy:

I found a couple of wheaties and a merc in the first 1 1/2 hours and still had 30 minutes of daylight left so I was a happy camper.

With only about 5 minutes of daylight left I hit the sweet sterling silver ring which I assume is a Mason's ring?

It then began to get dark on me but I was able to squeak out the sweet old Barber dime right as darkness set in.

This was one of the most productive 2 hour hunts I've had in some time...so I'm pretty happy.

I took the group shot pic as you see then decided I'd better call it an evening since it was dark. I drove away...got about 1 mile down the road then thought..."I'm going back for some more"...lol

I turned around and hunted another 2 hours in the darkness.:clapping:

Did pretty well again popping out another Merc which was an ancient 1917... a few more wheaties....and a crappy worn out token thingy:bouncy:

Time to hit the sack and get some shuteye. These goofy work hours at the gym along with trying to get my own workouts in 5 days a week are keeping me very busy and very tired.

Thanks for viewing fellers' and good luck on your next hunt.

Sweet finds! Yep thats a Masons Ring. Very cool find. Bet owner would LOVE to get that back!

Very nice productive 2 hour plus hunt my friend.:clapping: Never done any detecting in the dark so to speak. I'm afraid I'd get mugged especially in some of the parks not far from here. Get some rest and take care of you know who and thanks again for sending me those pictures.

A productive hunt with some nice finds. I have always wanted to try a night hunt but the wife won't give me the green flag. t's our "family time".

Nice finds Bryce - I'd call that a great hunt! My detecting time is limited too and I often find myself swinging til well after dark. Why not? As long as there is
enough light that I wont fall into a ditch, keep going! I found one of my best coins in the dark - a 1782 two reale.

Great finds  Your ground there looks a little dry, back East it's nice and moist and mushy.:clapping: Congrats

[size=large]i'm sure you don't work for free so why shouldn't Hurc get paid for his efforts. looks like he's due a little more chicken after that hunt
since it went so well.

Awesome finds my friend. I only wish I had the money to burn on night goggles for the dark night hunts.lol. I once did a short hunt in the middle of the night were an old brick house had once stood. And found a dollar sized Buddha coin. I made it in and out ok, so I guess it was a good luck coin that night. When I worked 2nd. shift I would often go out in the park's after work for a few hour's. Along with me was one of my sure fire light's with the red filter on the lens. As not to attract attention to myself. What we won't do for a few dirty coin's. But it's like gold prospecting. It get's in your blood.

Nice finds Bryce.....man the dirt looks like powder there.....it's been raining forever here and the ground is nice!

Nice finds buddy. We need to go all we can now that the weather has cooled down.

Sometimes you gotta hunt whenever you can. Good looking ring bud.

Be careful my friend as many critters out there after the sun goes down including two legged ones..A buddy helps and for sure Hercules does as he will sense danger..Nice finds for sure.

As far as those workouts my impression exercise one day and rest the next to let muscles heal or of course cross train and alternate muscles groups also works....been years since I worked out
while in my forties and imagine its still the rule of thumb...

Gee I wish my wife would let me take Kaci our pet Keeshound as very powerful legs for digging and would enjoy the company and of course added protection as some homeless people in isolated areas...

Thanks Dan. I'm a personal trainer and have done all kinds of split routines..but once I turned 45 I started doing each bodypart once each week. I hammer the snot out of it too...5 days each week...then take saturday and sunday off.

In my younger days I'd hit each bodypart twice a week...but if I tried that now I'd probably break in half...lol.
