Lots of interesting knick knacks this week in an area that difficult to hunt because of hard ground and crazy mineralization. Tried to clean the 1889 IH and it actually looked better when I initially wiped the dirt off it. Crusty. Found: 1920 Buffalo D or S (Not sure which), Wheats of 1918, 1919, 1927, and 1941, U.S. Post Office key, Model T valve stem cover, Tootsietoy Roadster, Timex watch, American S.A. button of 1924, gold plated cuff link, a clay marble, 8mm buckshot, 2 38 slugs, a U.M.C.CO. 10ga shotgun shell, another illegible 10ga shell, 2 W.R.A.CO. 12ga shells, several other rifle and handgun cartridges, the front plate from a Megill's Patent Universal WWI era cigarette lighter, and an advertising thimble for Sweet Roses Flour that I have found no information on.

nice group of finds especially like the thimble and the lighter cover.
HH Ed in co.

wow you had a great day! I love the old garden hose sprayer. They were the best sprayers not like the junk plastic ones of today. Nice coin finds too!

You really got some good surf coming out of that spot , I early ever see so much non ferrous

lots of cool neat finds, thanks for sharing

Good show Floyd, thanks for sharing! Like earthlypotluck, I like the hose nozzle. I have found 4 or 5 of those now and with a little cleaning, all of them work like new! I don't know how long those have been made, but, I think they are good for MANY lifetimes! The only part that ever needs replacing is the rubber bib washer.
