I have seen a mention of something Eric is working on for the GS5 series called an afterburner. Is it a tx boost for the GS5's and or could it be used on the Whites TDI. I realize this may be far to premature to even mention but you know gold fever does some strange things to people
BTW Eric I have been reading some on Giant magnetic resistive sensors(analog GMR's) and it seems that they use a supplied voltage and a magnetic field changes this voltage to signal an application of an event. Is it toooo off the wall to use a tx pulse to induce a current into another coil that would supply a current to drive the GMR to pick up the return signal from a pulsed target. It might be a Rube Goldberg contraption, I am only wondering if it might be feasible or even practical.

The only reason to explore this area might be if it were more sensitive than a RX coil.
Thanks for you patience's Wyndham
