Age of finds...

Really some nice extremely old finds coming in, Remember in some areas a merc. or silver roosie is a nice find. Remember they have to be there to find them and some fellows just live in old areas while others live in new areas where no extremely old finds are available. Heck the fellows in England find them thousands of years old while many in U.S. a 100 year old plus is a nice find in most areas..Idea is to research to get them as old as possible even though you may have to travel. In my local area a Roosie is about par for the course but drive an hour and barbers or even a seated coin is possible.Farm areas containing old picnic areas, ball fields sure beat the asphalt covered cities where many old coins are buried forever.

Good response Dan-PA. Here in Washington state across the water from Seattle being able to find any silver coins is a treat. Not as plentiful as other places and states for sure, but there are still some silver to be had if you are lucky enough to find the right spot. HH.
