I have finally gotten my first shipment of AKA Detectors in today. Also got some Mikron NRG 150 machines in. Check website for more info. http://www.rt6detectors.com

AKA Signum MFD is equal to AKA Signum MFT but with DEEP program added and minor software updates.

DEEP program
DEEP program is designed to find and identify large objects at depth under carpet consisting of small participles (E.g.: rusted nails and small iron laying close to surface) with medium (10"/9,5"x12,5") and large (13"/15") coils. DEEP program is a real substitute to classic deep scanning units like Whites TM-808/Pulse Star family but with ability to identify metal type (iron/non ferrous) in case of good signal strength. Signum MFD could be turned into deep scanning unit and restored back as a VLF detector just in 1 click – this could be useful when target needs rechecking.

Per AKAforums website.

The way I understand it is that the Deep Program is used when looking for a large deep target masked with smaller more shallow targets. It will see through to the big target without interference.

Wasn't turbo on 7272 mft basically the same thing?
No...the Turbo mode is simply a boost in power to the coil. It will drain the battery at two to three times the rate of normal mode.

Whereas the MFD deep mode is an algorithm to deal with surface trash masking deeper larger targets. AKA engineers like to use a lot of different algorithms in their software to deal with many different detecting scenarios. I amde the mistake of mentioning to the head engineer in an email ( when writing the Signum manual and Berkut manual).. the term filters...he quickly corrected me.."no not filter..these are special algorithm"
