I was taught not to drink liquor and wine in church and we never had it at home...not even beer, but dad did drink some beer when with other men but wasn't an alcoholic! My ex's dad was an alcoholic and affected the family including my ex but he didn't drink but occassionally at New Year's Eve parties or something like that which wasn't often! I never became a smoker or drinker and I am so glad to not have gotten into the habit of either of them or any other drugs! Those who are alcoholics usually are broke and never have anything because it all goes on booze and cigarettes! I feel sorry for whosoever gets hooked and can't seem to quit and the same is with gambling....spend their money on these things instead of their families! Really sad! They need lots and lots of prayer to begin to want to be free and lots of prayers to be set free in Christ Jesus! Amen! Ma Betty
