All I want for Christmas.

All I want for Christmas is a place to hunt with my Explorer and find the silver that all those other detectors left behind................. : ) Merry Christmas and a Happy New year to everyone and their families and I hope that 2006 will be a good year for all of us and bring us lots of great finds to share on this forum. HH.

:detecting:boy do I hear that!!! I keep air testing different old coins because the ground is frozen to about 12 inches by now. Montana is one of the states, that test the detectorists patients. Have a merry christmas and a happy new detecting year. Brian

Re: Brian

Thanks Brian and the same to you. You must be from Montana huh? I'm in Washington state. We had a club hunt last Sunday at the University of Washington. The ground was frozen and it made it tough digging, but I did manage to find a nice man's Itailian silver bracelet. Only four of our members showed up for the hunt and if it hadn't of been for that bracelet I could have just as well stayed home and watched the Seahawks. HH.

I hear that too! While I do get the chance to hunt the beach a couple of times during the winter (for which my wife thinks I'm totally insane), I can't wait for Spring!

Good news is today was the shortest day of the year; the days get longer from here on in :)
