Went all metal in the yard and found junk plus 1 good find! I found a merit badge from the order of Rainbow! It was about 6 inches down. I have known this land for 35 years and it was cleared in 1995. I have not heard of this fraternity in this county, we had the Eastern Star, still have a Masonic Lodge. So where did this come from?:blink: ifso

Its hard to discribe, almost like a growl for steel and it just tones out to a normal detector sound at 40_70, 80s sqeal and an overload makes me snatch off the head phones, some of the tones sound like two different pitches being played at the same time, if that makes sense. I forced my self to listen to the faint hum of the machine and then igot used to the occasional chirps (false sounds near the end of the swing as it stops to go back) when I heard anything different I would investigate it, listening to the tone(s) and looking at the readings.
