First Andy Griffith and now Ernest Borgnine. At least they lived long full lifes.
I can remember watching McHale's Navy and the Andy Griffith Shows as a kid, of course they were reruns when I saw them.

I was very sad to hear of Andy Griffith's passing. Don't tell anyone, Sandtick, but I cried at work when I heard! Andy Griffith, to me, personified a way of life that is lost to us in this day and time. Family, church and good values! Thank goodness for Netflix and reruns so I can get my fix! Don't know who Ernest Borgnine is.

Your secrets save with me. I have to admit I was pretty bummed out when I heard about Andy Griffith.

Here's a couple of links to give you a little idea who Ernest was.

The first one is from McHale's Navy http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=lfkkVFIT_PY

This link is pretty cool it follows him and his son RV'ing across the Midwest. He was around eighty years old in this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aKqaYlzhgc&feature=player_detailpage

He was also in the movie Poseidon Adventure and served 10 years in the navy.

doesn't look like I will because of being almost 77, ill health and lack of finances, although my ex is and doing better than I am financially but needs Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord! Thanks again! Ma

Goober graduated at UNA in Florence way before he became a star , so years later he and Ernest would come to the area to visit, both were great!
