Pete - Thx for the site. So many of the little settlements that are on the Az maps we have gone to and found things. Many are no longer on maps, just the way I like it :) steve in so az
 
was using that index of /mi/maps and ran across this site - sometimes pays to be 'creative'

Hopefully you will find places you didn't know about before.

I just found a book at the library - used to be a reference book but has been placed on the shelves for people to take home now...not only has all the cities - old and new - but has latitude/longitude coordinates

Unfortunate part of that is they are no longer accurate since the earth shifted with that Christmas earth quake that cause those sunamis back about 2005.

I checked out Connecticut....I see that I missed a few of the old beaches....gotta hit 'em this summer.
