Almost gold

Dug 40 coins (9 were nickels) and these 2 rings today. They both looked like possible gold. The skinny one isn't stamped other than the size.

The other one had a couple rubies in it till I washed it. It sure was beginning to look like gold & then I saw a bunch of stamps. This is when it gets you going because stamped words/numbers frequently mean good. At first I saw 10 K (excitement building) but further viewing through the magnifier showed 10K HGF Heavy gold filled. It is basically junk metal that's been gold plated - just heavier plating than usual.

Oh well - at least there's more possible gold waiting for me.
