almost gold

Not been finding much besides clad coins and junk jewelry the last two weeks. I am hoping that Ernesto might move some sand around this week.
Last week I hit a section of a beach that I have found some old things at including a bronze spike. The beach was really sanded in, I got a good signal. When I dumped out my scoop I saw this gold coin. I have seen pictures of silver reales that others have found on the island, but never heard of any gold coins being found. But on the reverse side of this coin it looked rusted. When I took a closer look at the front I saw the word copy.

I do believe I would have soiled myself upon seeing it and again upon realizing it was a copy. By the way excellent name.
