Alpha 2000 has anyone tried one and is it the same as fisher f2 or f4? thanks

Hello Fred,

when I received the Alpha first I was somewhat disappointed.....no pinpoint mode, ..no VDI numbers. All stuff the F2 has.

On the other hand the Alpha has less weight, one 9 volt battery system, faster micro chip, 0 to 9 number coin depth readout, volume control and more depth.

Since both have the same price the choice is yours.

Thanks for reply no pinpoint mode and no vid that kind of leave that out.Have you found a lot with it?what kind of depth?Just curious about the line of detectors.Thanks

Your best bet would be to move up to the Delta 4000. It has pinpoint, TID, and more.
$279.00, and it comes with headphones & pocket pinpointer.
