Always dig the Overload Signal?

Do you always dig the overload signal you get on your machine? I recently started after I found those trash pit signals of overload could mean treasure. I recently dug this trash pit from the teens and came up with an array of items. Some were quite valuable. Oh also, be sure to clean up after yourself and leave it looking good. I actually came back to this spot and sifted it with a screen and brought a trash bag for all the cans and glass. Go get you some!

I always check out the overloads. With my F5 the overload signal has led to pocket knives, a watch, and a very large silver celtic ring.

Some nice "overload" finds, that most probably passed up because of it!! Great work and thanks for the advice!!

I think I'm missing something? What is overload. Is it a term for a certain machine, or just a massive signal that gives off a bad reading?

some detectors give a loud signal like a telephone ringing on large or shallow targets

I dig overloads sometimes. The last overload I dug that was good turned out to be a loaded 1858 Remington .36 Caliber that was still loaded. Great finds!
