I'm a guy who believes that one can NEVER have too many detectors. But I've learned that one should listen to the little woman, also. Well, my better half had indicated that I really should sell my CZ-20 since it is the "backup" machine, and if my Excal were to break, I could use her Excal till mine could get fixed. Anyway, yesterday afternoon my child-bride and I went to the beach for some quality hunting time. As a "goodbye, old friend" gesture I was using the CZ-20 while she used her Excal. I was running the high tide line in "Autotune" when I got a faint signal, so I started digging. And digging. The better half and several tourists gathered round as I was recovering my target. Turned out that it was a wheat-back penny that was an honest 14 inches down. I believe that she was suitably impressed since she then stated that, "You are NOT going to sell the 20, not when it can hit a penny that deep !!!" So I guess that I get to keep the 20. Sure glad that I do what the little woman says. Wouldn't want to tick her off, now would I?
