am i running sensitivity to high on dd coil ?

I appreciate u guy a lot and love this site.....yep I got another one. I run my sensitivity when using the dd coil at 7 or 8 ....is this why I'm not liking the dd coil ? It seems very eratic to me. Would I like it more if I ran the sensitivity at 4 or 5 ? I haven't takin the sniper off my 350. I wish I cud like the dd coil. Would lowering my sensitivity help me ? Thanks all.

I run my sensitivity full on my ATP and have no eratic behavior . Run 9 on 1500 ,2500 before it gets eratic. My cousin has a 350 and said he can't run his that high because it gets eratic. Start high and back it down slowly until it doesn't false but remember the higher the better if its not falsing. I live in upstate NY and my cousin lives near the ocean with a lot of electrical interferances and mineral salt ???. I often wonder if he isn't having a problem with his or its just the area. I've never been able to hook up with him to make a comparison or give him hands on help. You could always call Garrett and ask them. A DD coil is suppose to been good for high mineralize soil. Not so sure that any of this can help you.

Yeah that helps. Thanks. I think ill use it at 4 sensitivity and do sum air tests w it.anyone else have any comments ?

Yeah...I run half sens or lower most of the time. Do some airtests, so some multidenom stacks and spills, toss down a Q with a nickle right next to it..I cant hear nothing good running full bore up here. Too much falsing you cant hear the good targets, so its area dependent...try some stuff and see what you like to hear in your area.
