anybody else have problems with t2 and the garrett propointer not getting along? Any solutions? I wish sunray made a inline probe for the t2.

I just got a T2SE. Only couple hrs on it, but had interference with my Garrett propointer too. I switched frequencies to f3 and it got along a lot better

Same here with using the F3. I still turn off the ProPointer when I rescan the hole. It's not a big deal.

Yea I've had the same problem to. When hunting with a buddy he would turn on his pro pointer from several feet away and it would still cause interference. Will have to try out the different frequency. Good post...HH

Same here with the interference. I take my headphones off when using the GPP.

I'll have to give that a try!

I have two Garret pin pointer a year apart, but they appear to be the same. every now an then the older of the two will get chatty and I have to turn it off then back on, almost like a reset -- ? So, I got them out turned on my F70 and not a peep from either of them. I moved them in an out from the coil, the coil would start reading them but they remained silent until I got within a couple of inches or so an then they would sound off, which would be expected. Granted, I am using the Fisher F70 but aren't these all Fisher Labs? My F70 is even quiet around my buddies White DFX even within striking distance a couple of feet or so. I had a guy with a Garrett 350 come up to me and still my dog was steady, his seemed okay to and did not run off. Maybe there is something else going on? Seems a lot of you guys are having this same experience -- maybe you should compare serial numbers and see if, perhaps, a certain lot number in the production line has this glitch, that would make it a warranty issue, maybe?? Peace, Dan

Strangely, my F75SE is not affected by my ProPointer. There are a lot of differences between the F75SE and T2SE. Another difference is that the T2SE locks onto a target better than the F75SE does. It's not as bouncy.

I have more trouble / more of just a nusiance with the T2SE and the Garrett pro poniter in the winter time than in the summer time

Slip your head phones off your ears. Or I have jolly Roger head phones that have a toggle that makes them mute. Yes its a pain in the but but both machines are ahwsome. HH
