amazing performance in hunted out spot

kaolinwasher

Well-known member
I decided to take the Vista Gold to a spot on nail hill that i have pulverized with other detectors in disc, I had the Super 6 coil on , and in 2 tone, boost, and i said if this thing can find something nonferrous in this spot then that is proof its good . and to my amazement in a very small part i got two targets that gave the solid high tone , I just don't know how they got missed . just really shows how good this machine is in the Iron , I noticed the cut nails will make a seemingly good sound off the edge of the nail but it has the low in it its probably a nail . don't know why the 33 slug gave the high low , but finding the brass washer with a rivet in it and the lead . really was amazing. so i wanted to post a video of the dig . Rg thanks for making such a cool machine , its been a blessing to me , I like it more every time I use it . love the 2 tone and the Super 6 coil .

Nice video Gunnar. Make sure you double check every hole. You might think those nails are making the high tones (and very well may) BUT I have a feeling you are going to discover multiple targets ferrous and non-ferrous in some of these holes. For instance, in your very first plug you found a nail. That may have not been the culprit that made the most of the high tone. I just want to make sure you are not leaving the good signals behind. :detecting:

Jimm, I bet you would like this machine . and could pull lots of things out of your spots you think are clean, and dry. I hope to get into the hunted out farm lot , its got corn in it now but maybe in spring. ground is still thaw as of 121315

There are a couple of spots farther away from my hometown I would love to try it out in. This baby just might be the ticket these two spots need to open them up. Been warm in the 50's and 60's and ground is very soft. Strangely nice weather that is for sure. Murphy's law: I installed my snow tires early this year and did a complete overhaul to my snow blower. Fully prepared for what ever may hit... guess what? no S_ _ W lol
