Went to the old picnic grounds after work again for a couple of hours. I again brought the ACE 150/sniper coil for the hunt. The ACE 250/Large 9" x 12" coil came along, but I never used it. I dug a lot of 22 shells and a couple of coins. I was very surprised to get an old 1906 silver quarter at about 6 inches. The other coin was a penny from the 40's. another eating utensil came out of the ground. It was an old silver fork. I am going to make a spoon ring out of it later on the winter.

Nice find in the 1906 Quater..It would be better if it was almost uncirculated. Still a good find:thumbup:

Do you have a spare bedroom I can use for a month or two next Summer? I would like to take the whole course on Garrett machines from you. Twice.

If you're only going to find two coins you sure picked two nice ones. Nice fork too. I think Medco made only silver plate buy I am frequently wrong about these things.
