..I was reading in the paper tonite the "Ask the Dr."column they have.A woman wrote in with a question concerning her husband. She said her hubby has been a beer drinker for 40 years;and drinks an average of 96 CANS A WEEK:surprised:...When he goes to the Dr,everything is OK;so he insists its doing no harm(sounds to me like he's inhaling it.)So she wants to know if its a problem...Dr.says YES-He is an alcoholic, and should cut down to 3 cans a day.(That 96 cans would last me a year, with a LOT left over at the end.)It sounds like when he dies,he will already be embalmed from drinkin beer...:help::(

I had a step dad that drank 12+ everyday! Yes he was an alcoholic. He even traded his marriage for the beer. :(

Let see there is the bar tender, the beer company, the gas company (for the delivery of the beer from the beer company to the store where he goes to buy it), the store employees where he gets the cans of beer, then when he gets stupid he supports his community as he pays fines, does community service, etc., the ambulance crew, the hospital emergency people, the hospital nurses and others on the floor to include the guy who delivers the oxygen to the hospital, and in the end probably support the mortician and the funeral parlor. Sure a lot of people benefitting from his misery.

No, I don't approve of his demon so will pray for him and his family...which is probably much more than that Dr. would do for him.
