Here is another hunt #101 same park. Thanks for looking and Happy Trails....Z

Dang z, what are you trying to do, corner the market on clad and cents? If you are, at the rate you are going, you will succeed. Another good pile. HH jim tn

Thanks Jim I have never hit this park before this summer. I have passed this park many times thinking I should go there. I have now gotten 354 coins out of this park. That number is for Mud because he wanted to know how many coins I have found. Most of the coins are from 80's and 90's. Mud also wanted to know that. Almost all coins are in the 1-3 inch range. My idea hunting ground. I am doing grid searching. The park is very conveniently sectioned off with sidewalks that I use as my boundaries. It is a rather pleasant detecting park. But lots of sun, not much shade. So I come home wet, wilted and drained. I can't tell you how great that feels.
The F70 is one heck of a coin shooting machine. The balance, lightness and speed make it hard to beat.
I am running the F70 at: DE mode, Sen@60, Thres@-3, Disc@20, tones@3H. I am coin hunting. It runs nice and quiet. I am also using the 4x6 inch coil. Lot of bottle caps, foil and pull tabs. End up with full pouch of tabs, caps and can slaw. Hard not to dig those signals.
Thanks for reading and Happy Trails to all....Z

Nice Z! Thanks for the numbers and settings...you are making us relatively young fellas look bad! I'm gonna have to break down and get that small coil you use...Keep it up!

Zeekeys you are a coin harvester :) Please talk more the screwdriver recovery method, what you using. I plan some park hunting here. The local coins smaller sized like american coins. The patina not damage during recovery?

Timysys here is a video on coin popping with a screwdriver.
http://www.goldpanprospectors.com/mdvideo.html
I use a 3/16 x 9" screwdriver.

Some people use 6" screwdriver.
Some times I scratch a coin when recovering it. I am only digging modern coins that are shallow 1-3" down in the ground. I hope this helps......Z

Thanks for your help! I have one important aspect is to avoid damage to the coin. I will try this method.

Be careful then Timmysys, you will have to retrieve lots of coins to get the "feel" of it, or you will scratch them. Like Zeeks says, (and his posts prove) we have lots of modern junk coins here that no worrys on scratching. Now, if you need to use this in a park where you are not allowed to dig, it is the real deal there!
