Angela in Australia..............are you ok.??.......saw the news about the cyclone.

Hello Bobbie and Finncats, yep I'm still alive. In fact, no cyclone has hit anywhere around here, but I'm a little surprised at the news. Now don't laugh at what I'm about to tell you! We don't have television reception, and I haven't watched TV in over 4 years! The way Garry and I catch up with the news, is generally we go drive into town (45min away!), get a coffee at McDonald's of a Sunday morning, and read the newspaper then. I guess we're a little behind on the head lines. So no reception and no mobile phone coverage here. What do you think of that! If we need an ambulance, they fly a helicopter into town, over the hills. There's a helipad near the local waterhole. (which is by the way, full of trout!) Bit primitive, but we're happy with it! Thanks for your concern though! Cheers Angela:detecting::)
