I see on the back on my 1266x there is a charging jack to charge the batteries, I am guessing that finding a charger for the 1266x would be harder to find than hens teeth, Could a person buy some nicad or better yet NiMH batteries and the proper adapter and plug from Radio Shack,etc, to charge the batteries.
