another 6X8 sef question

Is the pinpointing fairly easy on this coil? Have been reading from a lot of satisfied users.

I have the 8X6 SEF. Pinpointing is easy using the wiggle method. Just wiggle side to side a couple inches so you hear the target in the field. Slide the coil back as you wiggle narrowing the wiggle until you hear it drop out of the field and depending on depth it should be right at the front of the center of the coil (0 to 2"). A deeper target will be just under the front of the center of the coil and so forth. The SEF is a very nice coil.

I wouldn't take a bucket of worms and a cane pole on a warm summer day for mine.
It out performs a 6x10 in every aspect. Dept, pinpointing and coverage.
I use the D2 DD and the SEF 6x8 on my MXT PRO only.:detecting:

I have the SEF 8X6 as well as just ordered the SEF 15x12. How would the 15x12 compare to the 10DD?

Hahaha Coils are enough to make you insane. Or is it just me? I sold my Standard MXT and gave the buyer a deal on the 6X10 DD (mistake on my part.) I got the 8X6 SEF before I got my Pro and love the coil. I already had the 5.3. On the strength of the 8X6 I determined to get the 12X10 SEF. I got another 6X10 DD.....everything is so solid on it PP, VDI...but the 12X10 will be here tomorrow. I searched for 12X10SEF amd found lots to read lots of opinions. Long story short I have to get over this mania on coils I have been on. Anyone else's brains turning to mush over the same issue?

I used the 8x6 SEF first time on the weekend with MXT, surprised at the depth for such a small coil and was quiet at gain at +3
