Another Barber quarter find at the beach today...you just know it is pitted to the hilt, but I love finding those Barbers...

Was on a mission this morning to find a friend's wedding band that he lost in high tide about 50 yrds. from shore a couple of weeks' ago.

Tried my best at low tide ,..wnet out about 100 yrds.... but to no avail...will continue the venture tomorrow. Wish I knew which way the tide took this ring out.

Anyway , did manage to find a '43 "Merc" ., and a 1898 Barber quarter....one of my favorite coins.

Barber was bent at one place on the edge when I recovered it.

Here's pics

thanks for looking

p.s. obviously I could not get a mint mark on the reverse....
