Went to the bank and did some business there and then went shopping to get Meds refilled and food and household products! Quite a cold, icy windy day.....Unwise Ma didn't take any gloves with her and my hands nearly froze loading foods into the trunk and then unloading and hauling the bags into the house and unloading them! Glad I don't go shopping very often, as I was absolutely worn out last night and sore and achy this morning...my back hurts and my legs are weak and I move like cold molasses! :sad: Hey, but otherwise I'm alive and so all is well with the world! That's an old saying! 
My son and granddaughter came by to see me in the afternoon but I had to be at the bank by 5:00 pm for some much needed money to pay bills (NO I didn't rob it......I had to transfer from my IRA to my checking.....) They don't come very often, as David drives all the time and likes to stay home on his 3 days off a week! He works 4 (10 Hr days, including weekends) Didn't get to visit very long but enjoyed it while they were here! Most of the time I am home, but it seems now when any of my children come, it's when I have something I must do! Was the same with my daughter and grandson, and great grand-daughters....I had a dr's visit and so they had to leave earlier, too! Bah-Humbug! David and Tina gave me a beautiful 10-K small gold cross with chain and they took their presents I had for them! A late Christmas is better than none!
