Went out today to find acouple of watches. Guy called up and said he needed help with recovering his watches. I guess one night that his ex-wife got a little upset and really wanted to know if his dive watches were really waterproof, so she threw them in a retention pond outback of thier house.
After about 3 minutes I found the first watch (smaller one) at knee deep water, and another 5 minutes and waist deep I found the second one. The guy was very happy to see that both had been recovered. And Yes they were both working.
He gave a $75.00 donation to the CCPD Do The Right Thing Program for the Kids. After he gave me the check, I got the camera out to take pictures. After taking the pictures I walked back to the van only to find out I had locked my keys in it. Lucky the rear vent windows were open. I borrowed a screwdriver and popped the clip holding it closed only to find out that the window only opened out about 8 inches. I put the screwdriver back and grabed the rake to push the lock on the side door, only to be 1 foot short. After asessing the problem, I found a 8 foot board that did the job. It took me 15 minutes to break into my van, I quess I would make a bad car theif. Got in the van and started to head home, when I noticed that there was a police car in almost all the driveways. Glad I was not arrested for breaking into my own van.
Happy Hunting Everyone.
