I just read in the paper where a local guy from here in NJ was down in South Carolina last week. He went into an AA meeting and pulled out a .25 cal. (ha-ha) pistol and demanded every ones valuables. A member pulled out his legal to carry pistol and shot him dead! I guess the scum was used to doing this up here in NJ where we can't carry. I wish I could have seen the look on his face a second before the first one impacted his chest!

Jeff do you know what happened to the shooter---By the laws we have Today I would think he would have been arrested---Why---The robber did nothing but ask for material things so the way I see the law NOW we could only shoot after he had Used the Gun---In other words there has to be Blood Spilled Before we can shoot OR-AND we had to fear for our lives---Don't think I agree with that because I don't; but thats the way it is---I would thing just the gun being pulled is reason to fire but the law doesn't see it that way---I my self am a full time carrier (Springfield 40 S and W Sub Compact in a belt holster) except in federal buildings and in our state we cannot enter places that serve liquor with a gun---Since I never drink anywhere except at home; liquor places are Not a problem---D. W.

I am from S.C. and most places there don't play around. I used to work nights near a rough neighborhood and asked the local police about having my pistol in the place of business I worked at. I was the only one there at night. At the time I did not have a carry permit. I asked if it would be ok to keep in the desk drawer at night. He said, do you have a holster for the pistol, I said yes and he said where the darn thing, why keep it in the drawer in case you need it and if they see it on you, the troublemakers will probably leave you alone. That worked. The next time one of the drunks came to the door wanting to get in and get money (they tried to rob me twice, which was stupid since I did not have cash in the business, was a computer processing company), I had the gun on my side, when I pulled it out, they ran off, never did have any more problems.

All kinds of good guy victorys

Here A gun pointed at you is not a valid reason to shoot as they say he mite be Joking and never will shoot; SO here they get the first shot if they miss it's your turn---you can shoot first but with the wrong Jury you go to jail---D. W.----------I would rather be dead than go to Jail because I would feel so bad sitting in a cell That I would Rather Be Deader Than A Doornail.
