How SWEEEET is Life! Hunted again yesterday....temps about 45 degrees, ground soaked from melted snow and rain. Found this George Washington $1 coin along the sideline of a football field. TID was a loud 88-90. Guessing it was a referee's toss coin. Why else would that be in someones pocket. Thx for looking.

I found one yesterday. I was really excited, because I thought it was some rare coin at first. A dollar coin today isn't nearly as impressive as the old silver dollars were when a dollar was worth a dollar. The 18k gold pendent that I found a couple of hours later made things a lot better
After reading your posts, I'm suiting up and hitting the sledding hills! I cant take it no more! This addiction is really something...those dollar coins really help a persons total count for the day...This is my first year metal detecting, i've found over 30 of them...from the beach to the soccerfields, to the totlots...one spill on the beach had four!
