Another HUNTED OUT PARK! WEEKEND!

<p>Well Mark and I got out Friday to the same Old HUNTED OUT GHETTO PARK where I found the Large Cent last weekend!
Back into the shallow Clad hole that drives you NUT'S!
You can dig 8 inch Zinc cents and 5 inch large cents in the same stride at this place!
The good thing is if you stay with it and pick out the GOODIES in the trash you do Get REWARDS!!!
My first REWARD Friday was a signal that anywhere else I would have probably walked on!
The signal ran up and down the side like a NEW FIRED BULLET would!
But it sounded just a little higher toned!
At about 5 inches down I saw the edge of the coin with a star on it! I thought it was a Barber Half so I put the plug back in the hole so Mark could here the tone and see what to dig when he arrived!
He was only 5 minutes or so behind me So when he got there He said He would not have dug that thinking it was Lead of some kind also!
So it was a Fun Surprize when this came out of the Hole!!! <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D"><center><img src="http://www.findmall.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10438/1901-o silver _ front.jpg">A 1901-O Morgan Silver Dollar!<center><img src="http://www.findmall.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10438/1901-o silver_ rear.jpg">This is my second Silver Doller with the Explorer and the first one from this Park!
Well like Mark said it didn't take him long to find a VERY SWEET 1919-D Standing Lib!
I bet that coin will go A.U.!!!!
I tried to get him to trade me before he took it out of the dirt clump he showed it to me in for the Silver Dollar but NOoooo Way!
Oh well I will just have to find my OWN I thought!
Well 4 Silver dimes later I popped this out of the ground!<center><img src="http://www.findmall.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10438/1901 Barber 3-25-05 front.jpg">A nice 1901 Barber Quarter In at least EX-Fine shape!
He still would not trade! <img src="/metal/html/cry.gif" border=0 width=40 height=15 alt=":cry"> Bummer!
<center><img src="http://www.findmall.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10438/1901 barber 3-25-05 rear.jpg">It is always fun hunting with friends and finding coins!I only found one more piece of a Barber dime before we left!
I went back Saturday to the same spot and it is ALmost done giving stuff up for now!I only got another piece of a Barber dime and a few wheats to go with my 6 bucks in clad!

This is what it's all about... however, you didn't mention which machine or coil you were using at the time you "nailed" them...I sure am curious...

You know, I just realized that I was too stunned looking at that dollar when it came out of the ground to ask you for it. So I'll do it here. . .
Can I have that?
Mark

WOW GREAT FIND!!! Keep em coming!! I think I drove by that park last Wednesday. There was some drunk guy stumbling around a van parked on the side of the hill. I didn't stop just saw him on the way past on I 70 around 6 PM. Sure wouldn't want to go there without a buddy!

That drunk you saw out there was me...I was trying to find golddiggers plugs <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
