Sorry guys but those pictures are not what they seem. They have been around the internet for quite a while now with different stories. The size of the snake is misleading due to the camera angle and perspective. Google "Florida Eastern Diamond Back" and you will see lots of links to them. The record for a snake of this type is actually 8' which is still one I don't want to tangle with.

yeah, with a deer in its belly. If it's anywhere near that weight whoever is holding it up with that pole is one big strong ox. But yes, it is a HUGE rattler.

Seriously. No telling what critters are out there.
I've only come across a couple nasty dogs once
but nothing else.
