another lock from the lot was surprise

thought it was a Yale lock common one but when i decided to wire it off- United States Postal Service 'Rural Free Delivery" ---RFD--- on one side and "Mail" on the other. not valuable but kind neat. thats three locks recently. and a few keys recently- old type. always fun.
 
I had no Idea they did things that way thats some very interesting history , and proof of it thanks for sharing
