Another Mercury Dime

pilot

New member
Found my 3rd Mercury Dime this past Weekend at an old park in a nearby small town. 5 minutes into my hunt I got a little chirp that was mixed with another tone. I swept the area again a little more slowly and a ID of 38 would flash by intermittently. Swept over a few more times and decided to dig. Glad I did because it was in amongst some trash. Probably why it was still there only about 4 inches down. That was all the silver I found during that 2.5hr hunt but I came home with a smile !

Nice silver. I always dig those little chirps. That is how I find alot of coins at so called hunted out spots.
