Well I ventured out again today in search of my 2nd war of 1812 button. I did find a military button, but I believe it is later based on the backmark "P&S Firmin" which apparently dates to 1840-1875. I was a little disappointed when I found out it wasn't an 1812 button...but still a nice find. The front of the button has a tiger or something like it with "14 Waterloo" underneath. It also has some writing on top which I can't make out...might be "India"??
Aside from the button I also picked up 2 musketballs, and 1850 half penny token, 1886 Large Cent, 1888 Large Cent, 1858 fishscale, 1904 dime, and a pin of some sort.
Thanks for looking.
