On my Mavica 85 can I send an email pic and have the receiver enlarge it ? Thanks, Steve in so az

Steve:
The receiver can enlarge your pic if they have software that can resample an image to a larger size. Keep in mind that the quality of the image will diminish as it is enlarged.

Tom - What is the receiver and how would it work? Thanks, Steve

person you send the picture to. They would have to use a program like paintshop to enlarge it but as he said, you would lose quality. You can use a program like WebGraphic Optimizer to make the bit size smaller. The computer will only show about 75 dpi so anything more than that is wasted for viewing. If they want to print the pic large, they will need the larger picture..Just for viewing, use the optimizer or some other program like it------http://WebOpt.com

Steve:
I was under the impression that what you referred to as the "receiver" is the person that you are sending the e-mailed photo to. You might want to re-phrase your question.

Basically, I am asking for a way to enlarge a pic that has been sent to me email size. I don't have a paint shop type set up. Steve in so az
