Another sad legacy of our society...

I was talking to a woman co-worker of mine whose 5 year old son has leukemia today-Sad case.......She was on the phone talking to her son, they were exchanging mother/child love comments-Heart-warming!!-I asked her if her sons' father visits their son very often(they never married);she looked at me and told me"he has NEVER visited him".......I told her thats a tough job;being both parents, especially with the extra load of her son being sick, she said Im doin ok-At least I dont have to share my son with his dad...I looked at her and said"What about you??Whom have you got to turn to??"I then told her I have been praying EVERY WEEK at church for her and her son;and that the LORD will comfort them with their burden...SO SAD seeing examples of this time after time of these"men"breeding everything they can get into bed, then runnin away and letting the women deal with the fallout of raising a child by themselves, much less a sick child...YES,I KNOW the women are involved too,but lets face it-They cant get pregnant without the male's involvment,either.....

Yes, it seems to be another sign of the times we live in when so many children are born out of wedlock! Will pray for her and her son and ask God to help her in taking care of and raising him alone! May she lean on Jesus and trust in Him even before the weight of the trial she's facing gets too heavy! Bless her for being there for her son when he needs her the most! Prayers for his healing and for their comfort and peace! God Bless! Betty

Thank you, Bro Mohayes, but 'tis God's Holy Spirit Who gets the praise, for I would be nothing without His presence in my life! May you and yours be continually blessed of our Lord! Amen! God Bless! Sister Betty
